Hi, I am Traci Bartley,
owner of Tender Lovin’ Pet Sitting Service.

I have a master’s degree in education and worked as a teacher and coach for 5 years and then went to become a director for afterschool tutoring programs in the Chicagoland areas for 3 years. Over the summers I would pet sit for some of my friends and family and have always loved working with and taking care of animals.

My husband, three children, and I have a great dog named Porter. She is extremely bright, fun loving, and very affectionate. When my family would go on vacation we would ask family, friends, or neighbors to watch her. Leaving our pet in dependable, caring hands made our vacations all the more enjoyable, knowing we wouldn’t need to worry about her at home.

When the time came to embark on a career change after I had my son, I recognized the need for a service that would provide pet owners the certainty that their pets were left in reliable, caring hands in the comfort of their own home in their absence.

Pets are a gift, and it is a pleasure to give back to them and to the community with my service. And what a fun job it is. I am greeted by wagging tails and loud purrs every time I have a pet care visit with my furry clients. Plus, I have had the added pleasure of meeting some really great people.
